After four years on Ossington, Fishbar permanently closed on June 30th, 2015.
If you are a seafood lover like me, you will greatly enjoy a meal at Fishbar. I am a big fan of little salty fishes and was quite delighted with these fried lake smelts with sea salt and lemon arrived at our sunny patio table.

Nova Scotia oysters:

The menu at Fishbar is tapas-style with a great selection of creative dishes. We also had grilled calamari with capers, olives, cherry tomatoes and lemon zest, tacos with halibut and shrimp ceviche, guacamole and chili, and this grilled whole fish. It was stuffed with a delicious green olive gremolata.

Not only was the food fantastic but the vibe is great too; all the diners were happily eating oysters and drinking Prosecco on a beautiful Friday night on Ossington. This restaurant has a wonderful energy. Looking forward to returning for the Portuguese sardines. Fishbar is located at 217 Ossington Ave, Toronto.
