The Dairy Queen on The Queensway in Etobicoke is always busy. I have never had a Dairy Queen Blizzard. I am not a huge ice cream fan except for Baskin Robbins and Ice Cream Junction’s peanut butter chocolate. My husband was quite surprised I had never had a Blizzard and explained to me that they are quite delicious, a chocolate bar all whipped into ice cream. He was quite a fan as a child. Since yesterday was Miracle Treat Day and $1 from every Blizzard was donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, it was time to buy a Blizzard. I went for the S’mores flavour, although was tempted by the Mint Oreo. So yes, chunks of chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers all mixed into my ice cream:

It was awesome. So was my local Dairy Queen, crammed with adorable little kids getting treats post softball and soccer games. 831a The Queensway, Etobicoke.

Slurpy yum yum. No Dairy Queens here but that does look & sound delicious.
I’m a traditionalist (ie: boring) I always go for the original Oreo Blizzard. Which is funny because Im not a huge fan of Oreos.
also not a huge Oreo fan. I am boring too, I used to love the plain DQ ice cream sandwiches.
I like Blizzards better than McDonald’s version … the McWhatever.
If you ever get to Peterborough (or the Kawartha’s) you need to try the Kawartha Dairies Ice cream!! Creamy and absolutely worth any calorie compromise you may take. We always go to the outlet south of Bancroft on HWY28, would just blow you away
