Being on vacation for me means not having to grocery shop, not having to cook, and not having to clean. Amazing meals I had nothing to do with preparing are always one of my favourite things about getting away and in addition to all the fun activities that made our stay at the Westin Trillium House in Blue Mountain so awesome, there was an Oliver & Bonacini right in the hotel. Yes, that meant O&B room service, and ordering it was so much fun… here are some highlights!
Eggs benedict (my fave vacation breakfast dish- who makes this at home?)

Mac & cheese with Parmigiano-Reggiano (love the crunchy breadcrumb topping) and grilled calamari puttanesca with anchovies, capers and black olives:

A really amazing New York steak with roasted mushroom pudding and delicious baby back ribs with cornbread pudding, beans and bacon. No one shared.

Also consumed but not pictured include bacon and Niagara gold cheeseburgers with black truffle aïoli, lots of wine and lots of french fries. The O&B Café Grill is located in The Westin Trillium House, Blue Mountain.

Haven’t had Eggs Benedict in about 10 years, looks awesome.
I must have endured 10 years of March breaks at Blue Mountain and never saw snow last as your picture shows. Was always a spotty mess on the hills!
Rick that is so funny, it’s true the place was so pretty covered in snow! What a winter! My memories of Blue were also of patchy ski hills… I haven’t been in about eight years but I was blown away at how they have built up the village.
Everything looks yummy yummy. Damn it, Rosie you are making me so hungry 🙁
Looks delish! I’ve had good meals at their restaurants.
