Learning to Drive starring Ben Kingsley and Patricia Clarkson comes out on DVD today and I have a copy to give away to one lucky good-movie-loving reader! This wonderful romantic comedy debuted at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and was the first runner-up for the Audience Award.
Clarkson plays a Manhattan writer who takes driving lessons after her husband of 20 years suddenly bails on her. Her Sikh instructor (Kingsley) has marriage troubles of his own, and the two form an unlikely but charming friendship behind the wheel. It’s witty and well-written, such a sweet movie. Loved it.
