West City Snack Bar in Etobicoke: NOW CLOSED

I love telling you about great new places to eat on the west side of Toronto. Sometimes they pop up without much fanfare and you don’t even realize there is a new restaurant serving amazing Jack and Coke sliders on Horner Avenue. West City Snack Bar is a delicious new lunch spot in south Etobicoke with creative menu items that change up regularly.

Chef Tom Boromand used to be the executive sous chef at the Amsterdam Brewhouse. His signature Jack and Coke pulled pork sliders are braised for six hours and are sweet and delicious.

I love brussel sprouts so was excited to see them featured on the menu that day, fried with balsamic and parmesan.

The beef tacos and bison chili were perfect comfort food on a chilly day.

The decor is bright and comfortable. The owner made the tree trunk tables himself.

A welcome addition to this area of the city. 430 Horner Ave, Etobicoke, Toronto.
