There’s nothing better than coming home from a very long cold day on an exterior shoot to find dinner from Tadka waiting for you. Tadka- Sizzling Indian Spices is one of the best Indian restaurants in Toronto; a terrific menu of delicious, authentic and affordable vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian favourites. We’ve ordered several dishes from Tadka; tonight was Chicken Biryani. $13.99 for a huge portion.

The spices are incredibly fragrant and the curries are rich and creamy. Try an order of the Amritsari Kulcha, which is a mix of paneer, aloo (potatoes), onions and spices stuffed in leavened bread. It’s heavenly.

We usually pick up our food but you can dine in as well. In the summer the patio is lovely and lively. 666 The Queensway, Etobicoke.
