Fair Grounds has been one of my of favourite local coffee shops since I first bought their “Wake the Dead”, “Rich Bastard” and “Heart of Darkness” blends back in 2013.

Located on Lake Shore at Brown’s Line and 40th Street, this cozy cafe serves rich, strong and delicious fair trade organic coffee and a lovely selection of fresh baked goods.

Back in 2014, another location of Fair Grounds opened further east on the Lakeshore at 24th Street. It was smaller but still packed with all their fresh coffee and treats, and I loved it because they carried the amazing SO HO MISH natural skin cream made by the Honey Bee Store. When I wrote about this second location opening back then, lots of beauty enthusiasts I knew were excited to have a shop nearby that sold this line, where they could also pick up a delicious Fair Grounds coffee as well. It was a short but sweet time for this shop as it closed in 2015 and became Black Goat Cafe. There is now a second location of Fair Grounds in southeast Mississauga at 1106 Ogden Avenue. And you can still buy the Honey Bee Store’s natural skin care online, including SO HO MISH products and the Naked Bee line, and of course their raw unpasteurized organic honey and Ontario maple syrup.

Fair Grounds coffee is roasted in-house and delivery is available. Open daily. 3785 Lake Shore Blvd. West in Long Branch.

Thanks for the tip about their new location. It is closer to home for us. Their coffee is excellent, and the muffins are soooo good!
