One of Toronto’s most popular natural foods grocery store is expanding. The Sweet Potato will be opening a second location in midtown Toronto on May 24th, 2023. The new shop, located at Bayview just south of Eglinton, will offer an expanded selection of organic and locally sourced foods.

The first location in the Junction will become their flagship store. In the fall of 2017, The Sweet Potato moved into a 100-year-old building on Vine Avenue, which is just around the corner from the original shop. It has a bakery, a butcher, and a fancy cheese island, offering customers an even wider selection of fresh and locally sourced foods.
The Sweet Potato also offers a range of gluten-free products, including delectable butter tarts sourced from local bakery Tartistry.
