Opening Soon: OEB Breakfast Co. in Downtown Toronto

This OEB Beeakfast is now open.

OEB at 20 Toronto Street

OEB Breakfast Co., a popular chain in Western Canada known for its commitment to fresh, farm-to-table ingredients, expanded to Toronto with its first location in Liberty Village in March 2022. Now, the breakfast spot is bringing its acclaimed menu to the Church-Yonge Corridor, adding a second location in downtown Toronto.

OEB Breakfast Co. was founded by Mauro Martina in 2009. The first location was in Calgary and it quickly gained a reputation for serving high-quality breakfast dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients. Mauro, who was born and raised in Europe, wanted to bring a European-style breakfast to Canada, which he felt was lacking in the breakfast scene at the time. He drew inspiration from his grandmother’s cooking and his travels across Europe to create a menu that offered unique and flavorful breakfast dishes that were not commonly found in Canada.

One of its most notable tenants was Hollinger Inc., Conrad Black’s newspaper company, which had its headquarters there from the 1980s until the early 2000s.
