Reopening Soon: Lee Restaurant Relocates To Richmond Street West

Anticipation is building as the highly awaited reopening of Susur Lee’s restaurant in its new location on Richmond Street West approaches.

When it was announced last year that Susur Lee’s beloved King West restaurant, after 23 years, would be replaced by an Earls, long-time fans were relieved to learn that Lee would be relocating nearby after the original restaurant closed on March 11th.

Lee Restaurant serves creative Asian and French-influenced small plates meant for sharing. The menu is inspired by the vibrant flavours and spices of Southeast Asia, presented in a family-style setting. Popular dishes include the cheeseburger spring rolls, Singapore-style slaw, Asian slow-braised beef, and caramelized black cod. The tuna sashimi is absolutely delicious, and the restaurant has a vibrant energy that speaks to its 23-year legacy as a beloved dining spot.

The new space will offer a private dining room along with semi-private areas, providing an ideal setting for hosting special events and intimate gatherings.

Lee Restaurant is reopening at 497 Richmond Street West, Toronto.
