A new butcher shop is opening up on Royal York Road on Wednesday September 20th at 8am. Monte’s Premium Meats is located just north of the busy strip that includes San Remo Bakery, Revolver Pizza and Royal York Meats.
The new owner of Monte’s Premium Meats is Ernesto Monte (Ernie), the former owner of Royal York Meats.
The shop will have an opening celebration on Saturday September 23rd and as the comments in this Instagram post show, many local residents are excited to have Ernie’s homemade burgers and sausages available again. All the meats at Monte’s are GMO free.
Monte’s Premium Meats is located at 409 Royal York Road, Etobicoke, Toronto.
