Just Opened: Pigeon Café & Bar on King Street West

I love a dreamy tree in the middle of a restaurant. The Montreal-based Pigeon Café has expanded to Toronto, opening its first location outside of Quebec on King Street by the King Blue Hotel.

Pigeon is known for its brunch menu, especially the blueberry pancakes. It started as an espresso bar near Montreal’s Concordia University and has since grown into a thriving chain, with this new Toronto spot marking its fifth location. The decor is so pretty and reminds me of the Grenadier Cafe, with a touch of downtown sparkle.

The cafe’s slogan is “worst coffee in the world” but would Shawn Mendes drink subpar coffee? Not likely.

Pigeon Café is also set to open a new location at the Brookfield Place office tower on Bay Street in downtown Toronto. Scoop sleuths have spotted signage at the former Starbucks location on the concourse level. 337 King St. West, Toronto.
