For the past nineteen years, Out of this World has been a social purpose enterprise within CAMH (the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health– the largest mental health and addictions facility in Canada) offering stable and supportive employment to individuals with lived experience of addiction and mental illness. They aim to create pathways out of poverty and marginalization for Consumer/Survivors in areas like Mental Health and Addiction, Homelessness, Trauma, Gender-based violence, Criminal Justice, and Refugees.
With 3 locations, Out of This World Cafe provide cafe and catering services for events from 5 to more than one hundred. The Queen Street West location opens on August 8th, 2023. 1051 Queen Street West, Toronto.
