For many years there was a great West Indian restaurant on the Queensway in South Etobicoke called Trini Gardens. The roti were terrific. They weighed about five pounds each but somehow were so light, perfectly seasoned, juicy and delicious. An explosion of condo developments along this area meant that Trini Gardens closed down and boarded up. But, it moved south to the Lakeshore, reopened and the roti are just as delicious as ever.
