Now Open: Healthy Planet at Yonge-Dundas Square

Exciting news for health-conscious residents and students near Toronto’s downtown core. Healthy Planet opened the doors today of its brand-new store right at 322 Yonge Street, covering 7,500 square feet. This isn’t just any grocery store; it’s a hub for all things healthy and nutritious, including groceries, snacks, and meals.

For students at the nearby Toronto Metropolitan University, this new location is a welcome addition, filling a void in the area that was lacking such options. It’s the kind of place I wish had been around when I was attending TMU – a refreshing alternative to the limited choices available back then.

As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the sight of the most beautiful, fresh organic produce and aisles stocked with high-quality natural grocery items.

But what really makes this location stand out is the Healthy Planet Kitchen. This culinary gem is dedicated to crafting meals from the best ingredients, resulting in dishes loaded with organic produce, non-GMO elements, and Halal meats sourced from antibiotic-free, animal welfare-certified farms.

Executive Chef Maria Mancuso leads the Healthy Planet Kitchen with a dedication to crafting mouthwatering, health-conscious meals. Her signature recipes span a variety of flavours, from comforting soups to vibrant salads, hearty bowls, and refreshing smoothies, each carefully prepared with the freshest organic produce, non-GMO ingredients, and high-welfare Halal chicken. Chef Mancuso’s food is so delicious, and so beautiful.

I’ve been a long-time Healthy Planet customer because of its reliable supply of products essential for my son’s sleep issues. They’ve created their own private label brand, BBN, to ensure a stable supply chain for high-quality organic items. BBN offers a variety of products, including organic ashwagandha root powder and Italian-sourced organic tomato sauces.

Healthy Planet also offers a range of other goodies including dietary supplements, vitamins, sports nutrition, natural beauty products, eco-friendly household goods, and lovely natural soaps. There is also a great selection of sugar-free products including liquid monk fruit sweeteners, and pet food and treats as well. 322 Yonge St, Toronto.
