Barbie’s ’57 Chevy Corvette Visits Canada
The Canadian Autoshow Toronto 2024 will take place February 16th to 25th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. At this year’s show, Barbie’s ’57 pink Chevy Corvette is coming to Canada for the first time. Built as a recreation of the car from the 2023 movie, this Corvette features a 283 V8 motor.
The Barbie display will also include a life-size Barbie Box that you can step inside and get your photo taken.
Cars featured from the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends (life-sized re-creations of the brand’s popular toys) include:
- Deora II: Unique design from Hot Wheels, commemorating the 35th anniversary as a tribute to the original stunt brand.
- Loop Coupes: Guinness World Record-breaking cars defying gravity, driven through the Hot Wheels Double Dare Loop stunt, with drivers practicing in stunt planes to handle 7 Gs of force.
- 1967 Chevrolet Camaro: The first Hot Wheels model at 1:64 scale launched the brand, featured in a 2017 commercial titled “The Drive,” and remains a prominent member of the Garage of Legends.
Mattel is set to distribute a limited number of exclusive die-cast cars exclusively at the Canadian International AutoShow. To get one, make a Hot Wheels purchase at the Toys “R” Us pop-up shop during the event.

And, as part of the Grand Touring Automobiles display, the quickest production car in the world will also be visiting the show. The Rimac Nivera has 1914 horsepower and a top speed in excess of 400 km/h.

The Canadian International Autoshow 2024 will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) in both the North and South Buildings, located at 255 Front St W, Toronto. The show will run from February 16th to February 25th, with varying opening and closing times each day:
